Building a Collaborative and Respectful Space
Welcome to Claude! We’re thrilled to have you join our vibrant community of leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. At Claude, collaboration and fostering a positive work environment are key. Our member app streamlines communication and member management, allowing everyone to connect and thrive.
These guidelines ensure our physical space and online community remain welcoming and productive for all members.
Respect and Consideration
- Be mindful: Treat everyone with courtesy and respect, both online through our member app and in person at Claude. Avoid offensive language, harassment, and discrimination.
- Be a good neighbour: Respect shared spaces and common areas, both physically and within the app. Clean up after yourself and be considerate of others using the facilities or online platform.
- Respect quiet times: When designated quiet times are in effect, please minimize noise levels and avoid disruptive behavior to ensure everyone can focus, both in the physical space and online.
Collaboration and Open Communication
- Share your expertise: Offer and seek help through our member app’s communication channels. Mentorship and collaboration are key to fostering innovation at Claude.
- Keep it professional: When using the member app, maintain a professional tone and avoid spamming others with unnecessary messages.
- Community focus: Our member app is for fostering connections and sharing ideas. Soliciting business or sales pitches within the platform is not permitted. We reserve the right to remove any posts that violate this guideline.
Security and Privacy
We take data security within our member app seriously. Please be mindful of your own privacy and the privacy of others when using the app.
Conflict Resolution
We believe that conflicts should be dealt with through open, respectful, and honest communication. If you encounter a disagreement with another member, we encourage you to contact our support team at [email protected].
Mental Health Support
We recognize the importance of mental health and encourage members to support one another’s well-being. If you need resources or assistance, please contact our team at [email protected]. Here are some additional resources that can be helpful:
- AMI-Quebec: Mental health services and support groups in Montreal
- Mental health help and support resources from the Government of Quebec
Guidelines on Illegal Activities
We want to clarify that any activities such as copyright infringement, sharing of illegal content, or any other actions that violate the law are strictly prohibited within our community.
Accessibility
We strive to create an inclusive environment that respects the diverse needs of our members. When sharing content, consider those who might have accessibility needs. For instance, provide descriptions when sharing images for the benefit of visually impaired members.
Community Participation and Communication Policy
Members are encouraged to regularly check their inboxes within the member app and respond to messages in a timely manner. Please update your RSVP immediately if you can no longer attend an event or meeting.
Lost and Found
If you find any lost items within the Claude workspace, please return them to the front desk. In case you lose something, please inquire at the front desk.
Guideline Enforcement
Please report any violation of these guidelines to [email protected]. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any hateful or illegal behavior. Violations will lead to immediate membership termination. Other breaches of our guidelines will result in an initial warning, followed by a meeting to discuss the violation. If a third violation occurs, we reserve the right to terminate membership.
Hateful or Illegal Behavior
We hold a zero-tolerance policy for any form of hateful or illegal behavior. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Hate speech (including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other forms of discrimination)
- Harassment or bullying
- Threats of violence
- Incitement to violence
- Sharing of illegal content (e.g., copyrighted material, illegal downloads)
- Activities that violate the law (e.g., fraud, drug use)
